What Can You Make With Fajitas?

What makes authentic Mexican food so tasty is that it uses a blend of spices to flavour such foods as meats and vegetables. One of the most popular authentic Mexican food dishes are fajitas. Fajitas can be found on just about any menu that features Mexican food. Best of all, the tender meats and vegetables make the perfect healthy dish.

Not only are fajitas tasty and healthy, but they are sensible meal solutions because they can use any combination of meats and vegetables. So what exactly can you make with fajitas? The possibilities are endless, but here are the top 5 fajita recipes that will make every supper a success!

Chicken Fajitas.
Chicken is one of the healthiest meat choices because it is lean and packed with protein. Cut up strips of chicken and marinate them using such ingredients as vinegar, lime juice and olive oil. Add bell peppers and onions for extra flavour. After marinating, sauté the ingredients until the juices run clear. Place the chicken mixture into warm tortilla shells.

For a spicy kick, add a dash of cumin and hot salsa. Sauté the vegetables in olive oil and garlic and add them to warm tortillas and white rice.

Fajita recipes are the ultimate authentic Mexican food because of their blend of ingredients that are sure to indulge your taste buds. Fajita recipes can be made complete by serving them with a side of refried beans or black beans, slices of avocado or Pico de Gallo.
