Guy Fieri Goes To Arizona

Guy Fieri, host of the Food Network’s hit show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” has eaten at a number of restaurants in Arizona over the years.

“When it comes to food, Arizona’s got it going on,” said Fieri.

Arizona food does not get the respect of other cities such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco or even Las Vegas. People often think it is just quasi-Mexican food and bad BBQ.

But as Guy Fieri found out, Arizona has a lot to offer hungry people with a taste for the unusual. Here are the restaurants he has featured on his show:

La Piazza al Forno

With flour made in Italy and their own house-made mozzarella these pizzas come out of the wood fired brick oven as works of art. Try the La piazza bianco, a.k.a. white pizza made with fresh mozzarella, ricotta, basil and loads of garlic. One of the best pizza restaurants.
